Rochester Overnight Plating, LLC offers premium zinc plating services applicable across a spectrum of industries and applications. We treat cold rolled steel, copper, brass, and 440 stainless parts to impart increased corrosion resistance, durability, and hardness. Our processes produce plating in thickness of .00005″ to .0007″, in colors including hexavalents black, yellow, and olive drab; and trivalent colors of clear, black, and yellow. Our rack plating process accommodates parts up to 72″ x 18″; and up to 200 lbs. We perform a full range of pre-treatment operations to ensure proper and effective plating, including cleaning with muriatic acid. Hydrogen Embrittlement Relief can also be performed upon request.
We are dedicated to quality, subscribing to a fundamental quality system as used by companies such as Kodak, Xerox and GM, in combination with our rigorous internal systems that exceed the stringent industry standards set by ASTM, Mil-Spec, QS 9000 and ISO 14001 guidelines. Visual and calibrated inspections are applied both in-process and after treatment, and we carry out non-destructive x-ray tests, bend, and tape testing at our in-house laboratory. We handle prototype to high production volume, with minimum 4 hour same day turnaround time.
