We rack plated the metal coupler pictured here for a customer in the electronics assembly industry. The yellow zinc plating was applied in accordance with ASTM B-633 TP2 SC1 guidelines and quality tested to ensure it met the specified requirements for appearance, thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and hydrogen embrittlement. A total of 801 units were processed on a 24-hour turnaround to meet the scheduling demands of the customer.
